Venturi Space unveils ALTA LUNA tracked lunar rover

Monaco-based Venturi Space has revealed ALTA LUNA, a tracked lunar utility vehicle with real-time astronaut health monitoring and autonomous return capability.
Venturi Space, the Monaco-headquartered space mobility company, has unveiled ALTA LUNA, a tracked lunar rover designed to support astronaut operations on the Moon's surface. The vehicle's onboard system connects directly to a spacesuit, monitoring the occupant's vital signs throughout a mission and, critically, triggering an autonomous return to base if the astronaut's health deteriorates.
The announcement positions Venturi Space at the frontier of crewed lunar exploration infrastructure, at a moment when multiple space agencies and commercial operators are accelerating plans for sustained human presence on the Moon. For Monaco, the unveiling reinforces the Principality's growing identity as a hub for deep-tech and space industry ventures, sitting alongside the country's longer-established maritime and environmental science sectors.
Founded by Gildo Pastor, Venturi Space operates from Monaco and has previously developed electric vehicles for extreme terrestrial environments.
