Full founder profile

Every building on MonacoViews is photographed by me personally, and every editorial standard on the site is one I have set. If we have not been there on foot, it does not get published.

Steven Terence Jackson OBE founded MonacoViews to bring transparent, first-hand property intelligence to Monaco's residential market. He has been a Monaco resident since 2017 and has lived in the Principality for nearly a decade. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to employment and the community in Lancashire, and served the County of Lancashire as a Deputy Lieutenant from 2016 until 2025, when he concluded he could no longer contribute fairly to a Lancashire lieutenancy from abroad and resigned the appointment.

Steven is the founder and Person of Significant Control of NEW REG Limited (operator of Car.co.uk, 2026 King's Award for Enterprise for Innovation) and of PICCUP LIMITED (operator of MonacoViews). He is also the founder of the social enterprise Recycling Lives, the United Kingdom's most decorated social enterprise (four Queen's Awards for Enterprise), which he exited fully in 2020. EY named him the overall UK winner of Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019; he represented the United Kingdom at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year final, scheduled for Monaco in 2020 and ultimately held online following the COVID-19 disruption.

How MonacoViews Produces Intelligence

Every building profile, district analysis and market insight on MonacoViews is reviewed against our source hierarchy. First-hand walkabout photography and GPS data, captured personally by Steven and the MonacoViews team in Monaco, takes precedence over every secondary source. No residential building appears on the platform until it has been photographed on foot.

News articles are produced from independent Monaco and international source publications. Where an article has been compiled, translated and rewritten with AI assistance from a source publication, it carries the MonacoViews Editorial byline rather than a single named contributor. The source publication is always credited and the editorial responsibility rests with MonacoViews as the publisher. Prices and availability figures are excluded from evergreen content to prevent pages going stale.

Original reporting, editorial pieces and market commentary are bylined to the contributor who wrote them, with a public author profile that lists their work. Steven personally signs off content where the editorial responsibility sits with the founder.
