Princess Grace Hospital renews sustainable catering certification

The CHPG has renewed its responsible restaurant certification, maintaining its position as Monaco's first establishment to commit to the initiative since 2022.
The Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace has renewed its responsible restaurant certification, confirming that its catering service continues to meet the programme's standards four years after becoming the first establishment in Monaco to sign up.
The hospital originally committed to the initiative in 2022, setting itself 12 objectives across different areas of its catering operation, from sourcing and waste reduction to service practices. The renewal reflects measurable progress against those targets rather than a simple administrative renewal.
For residents and staff at the CHPG, the certification signals that the improvements to canteen and patient meal services introduced over the past four years are being maintained and built upon. It also reinforces Monaco's broader push to embed sustainability standards across public institutions, not only in construction or transport but in the everyday operations of its largest healthcare facility.
