Prince Albert II is representing Monaco at the 8th European Political Community Summit in Yerevan, hosted by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The Armenian capital Yerevan is hosting the 8th Summit of the European Political Community on 9 May, with heads of state and government from across the continent gathered to address questions of stability, security and continental cooperation. Prince Albert II attended the opening ceremony, where he was personally welcomed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The European Political Community brings together leaders from both European Union member states and non-EU nations, making it one of the broadest pan-European diplomatic forums on the calendar. For Monaco, participation reflects the Principality's active engagement with continental affairs despite its small size and non-EU status.
The Yerevan summit marks the first time the gathering has been held in the South Caucasus, underlining the forum's ambition to draw in nations at the edges of the European sphere.
