Monaco Economic Board renamed Chamber of Commerce of Monaco

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The body representing Monaco's business community has adopted a new name, Chambre de Commerce de Monaco, while keeping its existing role and staff.

The organisation long known as the Monaco Economic Board has officially become the Chamber of Commerce of Monaco, a change its leadership describes as a return to what the body always represented rather than a departure from it. The name shift follows years of operating under the MEB banner, a period during which the organisation built up services for local firms ranging from administrative support to networking and international promotion of the Principality as a place to do business.

For companies based in Monaco, the practical change is minimal. The same teams, the same premises and the same range of support services remain in place, with the rebrand intended to clarify the organisation's role to outside investors and partners who may be more familiar with the traditional "Chamber of Commerce" terminology used elsewhere. Business owners dealing with the body for registration, advice or trade missions should expect continuity rather than disruption as the new name is rolled out across its communications and documentation.
