AS Monaco Basket faces Olympiakos without key players Alpha Diallo and Daniel Theis for Tuesday's third quarter-final leg at home.
AS Monaco Basket's hopes of mounting a comeback in their EuroLeague quarter-final against Olympiakos have been dealt another blow, with the Roca Team confirmed to be without two crucial players for Tuesday's decisive third leg at Gaston-Médecin (19:45).
Alpha Diallo, the team's New York-born forward, is sidelined with an adductor injury, whilst pivot Daniel Theis remains unavailable following a finger dislocation sustained during the second leg in Greece. The absences represent a significant loss of firepower as Monaco attempts to overturn a 2-0 series deficit against their Greek opponents.
Monaco's task has become even more daunting following their 64-94 defeat in Piraeus, where they also lost Mike James to an ejection before half-time. With the best-of-five series now heading back to the Principality, the home crowd will be crucial, but the injury situation leaves little margin for error.
