Mayor Georges Marsan and the Conseil Communal presented a collection of games, toys and books gathered across the summer to the Le Pirate Blanc charity.
On Tuesday 8 September, Mayor Georges Marsan and the full Conseil Communal received Le Pirate Blanc at the Mairie de Monaco to mark the close of this year's Les Voiles Blanches operation. The annual initiative placed collection chests in the Mairie's entrance hall and at the Marché de la Condamine throughout the summer, inviting residents and visitors to donate games, toys and books for children in need.
The handover brings together two of Monaco's most recognisable civic spaces in a community effort that runs quietly in the background of the summer season. Donations gathered at the Condamine market and the Mairie will now be distributed by Le Pirate Blanc to benefit children supported by the charity.
