Hugo Nys exits US Open doubles in round of 16

Monégasque doubles specialist Hugo Nys and partner Édouard Roger-Vasselin fell to Andreozzi and Guinard in three sets at Flushing Meadows.
Hugo Nys and his French doubles partner Édouard Roger-Vasselin were knocked out of the US Open men's doubles on Tuesday 8 September, losing to the Argentine-French pairing of Guido Andreozzi and Manuel Guinard 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 in the round of 16.
The Monégasque and Roger-Vasselin had entered the tournament as 12th seeds, making their early exit a minor upset. The match went the full distance across three sets before the unseeded pair edged a tight deciding tie-break to end the campaign.
