Espace Lamartine Reopens After Two Years of Water Damage Repairs

The Espace Lamartine intergenerational community centre has reopened on 16 July after nearly two years of closure following serious water damage.
After almost two years of closure caused by significant water damage, the Espace Lamartine reopened its doors on Thursday 16 July in the presence of Mayor Georges Marsan, members of the Conseil Communal, and staff from the Mairie de Monaco's Senior Services and Social Action department.
To mark the occasion, three open days were organised to welcome residents back to the centre, which serves as a key meeting point for Monaco's intergenerational community programmes. The Espace Lamartine sits within the Mairie's network of social facilities and plays a regular role in activities connecting older residents with wider community life.
The reopening reflects the Mairie's ongoing commitment to maintaining and restoring the Principality's public social infrastructure, with the centre now fully restored and ready to resume its full programme of activities.
