Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the easyJet founder, married long-time partner Orla Murphy at Monaco City Hall in a ceremony attended by around 50 guests.
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the British-Cypriot businessman who founded easyJet, married his long-time partner Orla Murphy on Saturday at Monaco City Hall on Place de la Mairie. The ceremony was an intimate affair, with the couple exchanging vows before family and around 50 close friends.
Haji-Ioannou's sister Klelia and Murphy's brother served as witnesses to the marriage. The low-key setting at the Mairie reflects a pattern among high-profile residents and property owners in Monaco, where civil ceremonies at the town hall remain a discreet option away from media attention.
Haji-Ioannou has long-standing ties to Monaco through his business interests, and the wedding adds to a string of notable private events held in the Principality this year.
