The Cardio-Thoracic Centre, along with three of its doctors, appeared before the Principality's Criminal Court on Tuesday, October 20, facing charges of involuntary manslaughter linked to the death of a patient in 2018.
The case concerns Emmanuel D., a 76-year-old who was admitted on April 30, 2018, for an arteriography procedure after previous treatment for cardiovascular problems. He died following the admission, prompting the criminal proceedings now before the court.
