AS Monaco face a hectic end to the summer transfer window, with decisions pending on Balogun, Golovin and Kehrer before the 1 September deadline.
The Principality's club kicks off its competitive season on Thursday 20 August with the first leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off, against either Ferencváros or Górnik Zabrze, but the summer transfer window does not close until 1 September. That compressed timeline is putting pressure on the club to hand coach Filipe Luís a settled squad as quickly as possible.
Several significant files remain open. The futures of striker Folarin Balogun, midfielder Aleksandr Golovin and defender Thilo Kehrer are all unresolved, with the club actively working through each situation. Further arrivals are also expected before the deadline, though no deals have been concluded.
The squad is currently in pre-season training at St. George's Park in England, a facility often compared to France's Clairefontaine national centre, where the coaching staff are finalising tactical preparations ahead of the European tie. With both league and continental commitments beginning within days, the club's recruitment team faces one of the more demanding closing stretches to a transfer window in recent seasons.
