AS Monaco has secured four young players from its La Diagonale academy on professional contracts through June 2029, with all four from the 2008 generation.
AS Monaco has confirmed professional contracts through 30 June 2029 for four academy graduates: Safouane Benzahra, Najd Ajroud, Nahël Haddani and Melvin Gomes Da Veiga. All four players, part of the 2008 generation, spent last season with Monaco's U19 side under coach Frédéric Barilaro, completing their development within the club's La Diagonale academy.
The quartet's promotion to professional status reflects the continued strength of Monaco's academy pipeline, which has consistently produced players capable of stepping up to senior football. For a club competing at the top end of Ligue 1, converting homegrown talent into contracted professionals remains a core part of the sporting strategy.
This latest group of signings demonstrates the club's ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent and building a sustainable foundation for future competitive success.
