Yacht-related businesses based in the Principality generated €659.7 million in turnover during 2025, excluding financial and insurance activities.
Figures published by the Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE) put turnover from Monaco's yachting sector at €659.7 million for 2025, covering brokerage, charter, management and crew services but excluding financial and insurance activities. The figure confirms the continued weight of yachting within the Principality's wider maritime economy, an industry built around the berths of Port Hercule and the marina at Fontvieille.
For the companies clustered along Quai des États-Unis and in Fontvieille, the numbers reflect a sector that has kept expanding even as global charter demand fluctuates. Brokerage houses, yacht management firms and crew agencies based in Monaco have benefited from the Principality's reputation as a hub for superyacht ownership, with many vessels registered or managed here even when they rarely call at Port Hercule itself.
The scale of the turnover also underlines why yachting remains a pillar of Monaco's non-financial private sector, alongside property and hospitality. With the Monaco Yacht Show each September drawing brokers and owners from across the industry, the IMSEE figures suggest that commercial activity around yachting has held firm rather than merely riding on the back of the autumn show calendar.
