Tennis Europe Junior Masters begins at Monte-Carlo Country Club

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The season-ending Tennis Europe Junior Masters opened at the Monte-Carlo Country Club on Wednesday, bringing together 32 of the continent's top junior players.

The clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin host some of the best young players in European tennis this week, as the 2026 Tennis Europe Junior Masters got underway on Wednesday. The four-day tournament draws 32 competitors across boys' and girls' categories, each having qualified through a season of regional and international junior events.

The Masters caps the Tennis Europe junior calendar and traditionally attracts scouts, academies and national federations keen to track the next generation of talent before they move into senior competition. For Monaco, the tournament reinforces the Principality's standing as a fixture on the European tennis circuit, alongside the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters held at the same venue each spring.

Matches run through to Saturday, with finals expected to draw strong local interest from club members and residents who follow the sport closely in this part of the coast.
