The family of a Monegasque woman who survived 34 stab wounds has asked Prince Albert II to stop her attacker settling in Monaco after his release.
The family of a Monegasque woman who survived an attack involving 34 stab wounds has written directly to Prince Albert II, asking the Sovereign to intervene so that her attacker cannot return to live in the Principality once his sentence ends.
Jean-Charles Mulini was sentenced to 19 years in prison in May 2026 for the attempted murder. The family's appeal reflects concern that, without specific measures, he could eventually settle back in Monaco despite the severity of the crime.
