Princess Caroline presented diplomas to 39 graduates from Monaco's IFSI and IFAS institutes on Tuesday, marking the completion of training for the Principality's newest nurses and care assistants.
The ceremony recognised students who completed programmes at the Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers and the Institut de Formation d'Aides-Soignants, the two bodies responsible for training medical support staff who go on to work across Monaco's hospitals and care facilities, including the Princess Grace Hospital Centre.
For residents, the graduating cohort represents a steady pipeline of trained medical personnel entering the Principality's healthcare system, a sector that has faced recruitment pressure in recent years as demand for care staff has grown alongside Monaco's ageing resident population.
