Princess Caroline attends nursing graduation at Princess Grace Hospital

Twenty-five nurses and sixteen nursing assistants received their diplomas at the Princess Grace Hospital's Nursing Training Institute, with Princess Caroline in attendance.
The Nursing Training Institute at the Princess Grace Hospital marked the end of another academic year with its traditional graduation ceremony, handing diplomas to 25 nurses and 16 nursing assistants. Princess Caroline of Hanover attended alongside the graduates' families, hospital staff and representatives of the Monegasque government, continuing the institute's long-standing practice of marking each cohort's completion with a formal event.
The new graduates will join the ranks of healthcare professionals serving the Principality, at a time when the Princess Grace Hospital continues to expand its capacity and specialist services. For residents, the ceremony is a reminder of how the Principality trains and retains its own medical workforce rather than relying solely on recruitment from France or Italy, a factor that matters for continuity of care in a small territory.
The institute, based within the hospital complex, has for years served as the main pipeline for nursing staff across Monaco's public health system. This year's ceremony followed the same format as previous editions, with diplomas presented individually before guests and families.
