Prince Albert II has received a commemorative medal celebrating 150 years of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, the Principality's oldest association.
Prince Albert II was presented with a commemorative medal marking the 150th anniversary of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Monaco, recognising the Sovereign's support for the Principality's oldest charitable association.
The Society, part of an international Catholic organisation founded to assist those in need, has operated in Monaco since the 1870s, making it a fixture of the Principality's charitable landscape long before many of its better-known institutions were established.
The presentation reflects the close ties between the Princely Family and Monaco's charitable network, with the Prince's Palace regularly marking milestones of organisations that provide social support across the Principality.
