The royal couple toured the new Ida crèche in La Condamine, which has provided thirty additional childcare places since 2 September.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène visited the new Ida crèche in La Condamine on Tuesday morning, marking the official opening of a facility that has quietly been caring for Monaco's youngest residents since the start of September.
The establishment adds thirty new cots to the Principality's childcare network, addressing a pressure point for families living and working in Monaco where nursery places remain in high demand. During their visit, the royal couple met the toddlers who have already settled into the Condamine site over the past six weeks.
For parents in the district, the addition brings welcome capacity to one of Monaco's busiest residential and commercial quarters, where demand for early years places has long outstripped supply.
