Order of Malta hosts first solidarity breakfast in Monaco

The Order of Malta held its first solidarity breakfast at the Église Saint-Charles to give its beneficiaries a moment of company and warmth.
The Monaco branch of the Order of Malta organised its first "petit-déjeuner solidaire" at the Église Saint-Charles, bringing together volunteers and the people the association supports for a shared meal rather than the usual handout of food or clothing.
The event reflects a shift many local charities are making toward offering connection alongside material aid, recognising that isolation is often as pressing a concern as hardship itself for those the Order of Malta assists in the Principality. Volunteers served coffee and pastries in the church hall, giving beneficiaries time to sit, talk and be treated as guests rather than recipients.
The association has not yet confirmed whether the breakfast will become a regular fixture, but the turnout on Saturday suggests appetite, among both volunteers and beneficiaries, for more such gatherings. For a charity long associated with practical relief work in Monaco, the initiative marks a small but notable addition to how it supports the community it serves.
