New Monaco charity supports children who lose a parent

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

Sasha Petit has founded Les Enfants du Courage, a Monaco association offering emotional, practical and financial help to bereaved children.

A new association has launched in Monaco to support children coping with the death of a parent. Les Enfants du Courage, meaning Children of Courage, was founded by Sasha Petit, who drew on her own experience of loss to shape the organisation's mission.

The association aims to provide emotional, practical and financial support to families navigating one of the hardest periods a child can face. For residents who know families touched by bereavement, the launch offers a local point of contact and a network built specifically around children's needs rather than general grief services.

Details on how families can access support, along with any fundraising or volunteer opportunities, are expected to follow as the association establishes itself in the Principality.
