Monaco Telecom offers free apps to block nuisance calls

The Monaco Government and Monaco Telecom are promoting two free apps, Saracroche and Blocall, to help mobile users block unwanted automated calls.
Mobile phone users in Monaco regularly receive automated nuisance calls, many originating from France or further afield. To help residents cut down on these unwanted calls, the Princely Government and Monaco Telecom are highlighting two free applications that identify and block suspect numbers.
The apps, Saracroche and Blocall, are available on both iOS and Android. They work by screening incoming calls against databases of known nuisance numbers, automatically filtering out the most persistent offenders before they reach your handset.
For Monaco Telecom customers frustrated by repeated cold calls and automated marketing, this is a straightforward, no-cost way to take back control of their phone. Anyone wanting to reduce interruptions can download either app directly from their device's app store.
