Isabelle Berro-Amadeï travelled to the Ukrainian capital for high-level meetings with government ministers and a tribute at the Wall of Remembrance.
Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Monaco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, visited Kyiv in her capacity as Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, meeting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha for bilateral talks and a joint press conference.
The two officials laid a wreath at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine on Mykhailivska Square, paying tribute to those killed during the war. Berro-Amadeï also held separate meetings with the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Social Policies, Family and Unity, and the President of the Ukrainian Parliament.
The visit underlines Monaco's active role at the Council of Europe during its chairmanship, with the Principality using that platform to maintain direct diplomatic engagement with Kyiv at a senior government level.
