Monaco marks 21 years of Prince Albert II's reign in Paris

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

Around 350 guests gathered in Paris to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Prince Albert II's accession to the throne of Monaco.

A reception in Paris brought together around 350 guests to mark the 21st anniversary of Prince Albert II's accession to the throne. The gathering drew representatives from French government ministries, the Apostolic Nuncio, and a wide cross-section of ambassadors accredited to the Principality who are based in the French capital, alongside diplomatic missions attached to UNESCO.

Speaking on behalf of both heads of mission, Monaco's Ambassador to France and Andorra, H.E. Valérie Bruell-Melchior, addressed the assembly in a formal allocution. The event reflects Monaco's active diplomatic presence in Paris and the close institutional ties between the Principality and its French neighbours, particularly as Prince Albert II enters his third decade on the throne.
