Monaco coach sets record with 10 HYROX events in a row

Anthony Cromwell, a Monaco-based coach, has completed ten consecutive HYROX events without a break, in what is believed to be a world first.
Anthony Cromwell, a fitness coach based in the Principality, completed ten back-to-back HYROX events in Villeurbanne on Sunday, a feat thought to have no precedent in the sport. Each event combines an 8km run with a series of functional fitness stations, covering rowing, walking lunges, weighted carries and burpees, making consecutive attempts a serious test of both endurance and muscular resilience.
HYROX has grown rapidly as a competitive fitness format in recent years, attracting participants from across the endurance and strength training communities. Completing ten rounds without rest places Cromwell firmly in territory no competitor appears to have mapped before.
For Monaco's fitness community, which trains across facilities from the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club to private gyms in Fontvieille, Cromwell's achievement adds to a growing list of elite athletic performances connected to the Principality. His record sets a considerable benchmark for anyone in the sport looking to test the outer limits of human endurance.
