MEB deepens UAE trade ties at Castelroc summit

The Monaco Economic Board brought together business leaders and UAE diplomats at Castelroc to strengthen commercial links between the Principality and the Emirates.
A working visit from the UAE Ambassador to France and Monaco, H.E. Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, formed the centrepiece of a Business Destination conference held at Castelroc on 28 April, organised by the Monaco Economic Board. The event brought together Monegasque business figures to explore trade and investment opportunities between the Principality and the United Arab Emirates.
The Ambassador's programme extended beyond the conference room, with meetings held with Monegasque authorities and a session with startups based at MonacoTech, the Principality's innovation hub. In his opening remarks, Al Raqbani pointed to shared values of excellence and sustainability as a foundation for closer ties between the two territories.
For Monaco's business community, the UAE represents one of the most strategically significant relationships in the Gulf region. Events of this kind, which combine diplomatic engagement with direct access to entrepreneurs and institutions, reflect the MEB's ongoing work to position the Principality as a credible partner for high-value international markets.
