Monaco charity aids the sick and marginalised in Fiamma's name

A Monaco association founded by Adriano and Sabine Lembo supports people living with illness, disability or social exclusion as a tribute to their sister and daughter Fiamma, who died of cancer in 2023.
Founded in memory of Fiamma Lembo, who died of cancer in 2023, a new Monaco-based association is reaching out to some of the Principality's most vulnerable residents. Set up by her brother Adriano and mother Sabine, the organisation provides support to people living with serious illness, disability, or marginalisation, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community facing exclusion.
The association's founders describe Fiamma as someone whose warmth and radiance made an impression on all who knew her, and say the project is their way of keeping that spirit alive in practical form. Rather than a memorial fund, they have built an active support structure aimed at people who often fall between the gaps of official assistance networks.
For Monaco residents and the wider community, the charity adds a grassroots dimension to the Principality's social fabric at a time when demand for personalised, human-scale support continues to grow.
