Monaco and Bahrain deepen economic ties after Davos talks

A formal delegation visit has reinforced the economic partnership between Monaco and Bahrain, building on exchanges held in Davos in January 2026.
Two years after the first economic mission to Bahrain, the Principality has taken another step in consolidating ties with the Gulf kingdom. The latest visit brought together public and private sector actors from both sides, confirming the momentum of a bilateral partnership that has been developing steadily at the highest levels.
The delegation was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Isabelle Berro-Amadei, whose involvement signals the institutional weight Monaco is placing on this relationship. Discussions held earlier this year on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos appear to have translated into concrete follow-up, with this mission representing a direct continuation of those talks.
For Monaco's business community, the strengthening of Gulf partnerships carries practical significance. Bahrain's status as a regional financial hub, combined with its openness to foreign investment frameworks, offers potential alignment with the Principality's own interests in diversifying international economic relations.
