MEB strengthens UAE ties at Castelroc gathering

The Monaco Economic Board hosted a Business Destination conference on the UAE at restaurant Castelroc, welcoming the Emirati Ambassador to France and Monaco.
On Tuesday 28 April, the Monaco Economic Board brought together business figures at the Castelroc restaurant for a dedicated Business Destination conference focused on the United Arab Emirates. The event was anchored by the presence of His Excellency Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France and Monaco, whose participation gave the gathering a distinctly high-level tone.
The visit extended well beyond the conference room. Ambassador Al Raqbani's programme included working exchanges with Monegasque authorities and a separate meeting with startups based at MonacoTech, signalling a practical interest in the Principality's emerging innovation ecosystem rather than simply its financial standing. In his opening remarks, the Ambassador pointed to shared values of excellence between the two territories as a foundation for deeper commercial ties.
For Monaco-based businesses and entrepreneurs eyeing Gulf markets, the MEB's continued focus on the UAE reflects a well-established corridor of interest between the Principality and the Emirates, two jurisdictions that punch well above their geographic size in international commerce and investment.
