Alain Ducasse's three-Michelin-starred table at the Hôtel de Paris has been ranked 47th in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
Le Louis XV, Alain Ducasse's flagship dining room inside the Hôtel de Paris on Place du Casino, has taken 47th place in this year's World's 50 Best Restaurants ranking. It is the first time a Monaco establishment has featured on the list, which is compiled annually by an international panel of chefs, critics and industry figures.
The restaurant has held three Michelin stars for more than two decades and remains one of the few in the world to sustain that status for so long. Its Mediterranean-led menu, built around produce from the hills behind Nice and the Var, has become a reference point for the Principality's reputation beyond motor racing and banking.
For Monaco, the recognition matters beyond the kitchen. The Hôtel de Paris and its neighbouring Casino de Monte-Carlo anchor the Golden Square district both socially and commercially, and a global ranking of this kind feeds directly into how the Principality is perceived by the high-end hospitality and property markets that depend on its image.
