Halloween Village draws 500 to Larvotto beach

More than 500 children, parents and grandparents attended the Let's Play Halloween event organised by Entreparents on Larvotto beach.
Larvotto beach turned into a Halloween village this week as the Entreparents network staged its annual Let's Play Halloween gathering. More than 500 people, from toddlers to grandparents, turned out for an afternoon of stalls, games and the traditional treasure hunt for sweets that has become a fixture on the Monaco family calendar.
The event ran in partnership with entertainers and several of the beach's commercial operators, who opened up their space for the stalls and activities. For families living in Monte-Carlo and along the Larvotto seafront, it offered a rare chance to see the beach repurposed for a daytime community event rather than its usual summer role.
Entreparents has built a reputation over recent years for organising family-focused gatherings outside the main tourist season, and the scale of this year's turnout, with hundreds of children taking part in the sweet hunt alone, suggests the event has outgrown its original format. Organisers are likely to look at how the beach concessions and surrounding area can accommodate even larger numbers if the event returns next Halloween.
