The Grimaldi Forum has won gold at London's M&IT Awards for the second consecutive year, tying with PortAventura Business & Events.
The Grimaldi Forum has been named Gold Award winner for Best Overseas Conference Centre at the M&IT Awards in London, marking the second year running that the Avenue Princesse Grace venue has taken the top honour. Forum management confirmed the win yesterday, noting it shares this year's gold with Spanish rival PortAventura Business & Events.
The M&IT Awards are among the industry's most closely watched accolades for meetings, incentives and events venues, drawing entries from congress centres across Europe. For a venue built specifically to compete for international conference and exhibition business, a repeat gold strengthens the Forum's standing with event organisers weighing options for large-scale gatherings.
The result matters beyond hospitality circles. The Forum is one of the Principality's key economic engines outside banking and property, drawing delegates who fill hotel rooms, restaurants and retail along the harbour and in Monte-Carlo during major conference weeks.
