Team Monaco reached a significant milestone in Luanda on 13 September, finishing second at the E1 Luanda GP 2026 to claim the squad's first podium in the UIM E1 Series World Championship presented by PIF.
The result represents a meaningful step forward for the Principality's entry in the all-electric racing boat series, which has grown rapidly since its inaugural season. Monaco has backed the E1 Series closely, and a podium finish gives the team genuine standing in the championship standings as the 2026 season continues.
Founded with strong ties to the Principality, E1 Team Monaco competes alongside city-based franchises from across the world in a format designed to bring electric powerboat racing to urban waterfronts. Luanda marks the clearest on-water return yet on that investment.
