Sané opens up on Dier bond ahead of Lens visit to Louis-II

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

New AS Monaco signing Sadibou Sané has spoken at his first press conference ahead of Friday's Ligue 1 home fixture against RC Lens at the Stade Louis-II.

Sadibou Sané made his first appearance before the Monaco press corps this week, speaking candidly about his arrival at the club and the warm reception he received from fellow defender Eric Dier. The Senegalese centre-back, who joined the Monegasques during the summer transfer window, described the immediate bond he formed with the former England international as a key factor in settling quickly into life at the club.

Sané will be hoping to feature when AS Monaco host RC Lens at the Stade Louis-II on Friday evening, kick-off at 20h45. The match is an early test for Adi Hütter's side as they look to build momentum in Ligue 1, and the arrival of a composed, experienced defender adds depth to a backline that has faced considerable scrutiny in recent seasons.

For those living close to the stadium in Fontvieille, the usual Friday-evening matchday restrictions on parking and access around Avenue des Castelans are expected to apply from early afternoon. Supporters are advised to check the AS Monaco official channels for gate-opening times.
