Filipe Luis made only minor changes to his starting eleven for the visit of Toulouse to the Stade Louis-II.
Filipe Luis named his team for Saturday's 20:45 kick-off against Toulouse at the Stade Louis-II, the sixth round of fixtures in Ligue 1, with few surprises in terms of overall selection but two notable names in the flanks. Diop and Detourbet, not widely tipped to start, were given the task of driving the width in Monaco's 4-2-3-1 shape.
The Monegasque coach opted against wholesale rotation despite the demands on the horizon. Monaco open their Conference League league phase away at CSKA Sofia on Thursday at 18:45, the first of eight matches the club must play in twenty-nine days.
For supporters at the Louis-II, the selection suggests Filipe Luis is prioritising continuity domestically before the squad faces a congested run spanning Ligue 1 and European competition. How Diop and Detourbet perform on the flanks against Toulouse could shape selection decisions heading into the trip to Sofia.
