Charity food collection at Carrefour Fontvieille in October

Semeurs d'Espoir Monaco will hold a two-day collection for those in need at Carrefour Fontvieille on 2 and 3 October 2026.
Semeurs d'Espoir Monaco is organising a large-scale collection drive at Carrefour Fontvieille on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026, inviting shoppers to donate food and essential items directly from the supermarket's aisles.
Volunteers will be stationed at the Fontvieille store throughout both days, guiding customers towards items most needed by the association and collecting donations on the spot. The initiative is aimed squarely at supporting the Principality's more vulnerable residents, a population that charities in Monaco say remains present despite the country's wealth and high cost of living.
For residents of Fontvieille and nearby districts, it is a straightforward way to contribute without seeking out a separate donation point, simply by adding an extra item or two to the weekly shop. Semeurs d'Espoir has previously run similar collections in Monaco, relying on this kind of grassroots, in-store generosity to stock its support programmes for those struggling to make ends meet in the Principality.
