Café de Paris hosts its 8th Spanish Week with flamenco and royal visit

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

Christophe Navarre's annual celebration of Iberian culture returns to the Café de Paris on the Place du Casino, running until Sunday.

The Café de Paris on the Place du Casino is once again at the heart of Monaco's Spanish Week, with the 8th edition of the event organised by Christophe Navarre running until Sunday. The programme includes flamenco evenings and a showcase of Spanish gastronomy, continuing a tradition Navarre first launched in 2009 out of a personal passion for Iberian culture.

This year's edition carries particular weight, with Prince Albert II having visited the event - a mark of recognition that underlines the festival's standing within the Principality's cultural calendar. For residents and visitors passing through the square this weekend, the terrace at Café de Paris offers an accessible taste of Spanish culture without leaving Monte-Carlo.
