Autumn fair returns to Port Hercule until 19 November

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The annual Monaco Attractions Fair opened at Port Hercule on 16 October and runs for five weeks with rides, games and food stalls.

The harbour at Port Hercule has swapped superyacht moorings for carousel lights this week, as the annual Monaco Attractions Fair opened its gates on Friday 16 October. The autumn fixture, a fixture on the Principality's calendar for decades, brings the usual mix of rides, carnival games and food stalls to the quayside for five weeks.

Families with younger children will find gentler rides clustered near the port entrance, while bigger thrill rides and games stalls occupy the stretch running towards the Digue. Food vendors selling churros, crepes and local snacks line the walkway, making it a popular evening stop for residents heading home from work in Monte Carlo or La Condamine.

The fair runs until Thursday 19 November, giving residents and visitors over a month to make the trip down to the port. For those living in the surrounding quartiers, it means a livelier, noisier waterfront for the next few weeks, with extended opening hours typically stretching into the evening.
