AS Monaco beat Górnik Zabrze 3-2 in Zabrze on Thursday in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League play-off tie.
AS Monaco travelled to Silesia on Thursday and came away with a 3-2 victory over Górnik Zabrze in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League play-off. The result gives Philippe Clement's side a slender but meaningful advantage ahead of the return fixture at the Stade Louis II.
Zabrze, a Polish top-flight club with a storied European history, made it a competitive evening, but Monaco held firm to secure the win. The second leg in the Principality will determine which side advances to the Conference League group stage.
