AS Monaco sign Flavio Nazinho as first summer recruit
By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial
Portuguese defender Flavio Nazinho has joined AS Monaco on a four-year contract after progressing through the club's satellite side Cercle Bruges.
AS Monaco have completed the signing of Flavio Nazinho, confirming the Portuguese defender as their first acquisition of the summer transfer window on 30 June 2026. The move had been widely anticipated given Nazinho's existing ties to the club's network.
Nazinho arrives from Cercle Bruges, the Belgian club in which Monaco hold a ownership stake and which regularly serves as a development pathway to the Principality. The versatile defender has signed a four-year deal, keeping him at the Stade Louis II until at least 2030.
