Golovin starts and Brunner is preferred to Biereth as Monaco begin their Ligue 1 campaign away at Le Havre on Sunday afternoon.
Three days after their Conference League play-off victory away at Gornik Zabrze, AS Monaco face their first Ligue 1 fixture of the 2026-27 season, travelling to Le Havre for a 17h15 kick-off on Sunday.
Coach Adi Hütter has made several changes from the side that played in Poland, with Aleksandr Golovin named in the starting eleven and Brunner given the nod ahead of Biereth in a rotated lineup. The selection reflects the demands of a congested early-season schedule, with Monaco already deep into European competition before the domestic campaign has even begun.
A positive result at Stade Océane would set Monaco up nicely heading into the next round of Conference League action, where they will look to build on the momentum gathered in Zabrze.
