Ansu Fati injured again, future at AS Monaco in doubt

Ansu Fati picked up another injury against Lille just weeks after returning from a calf problem, raising fresh questions over his role at AS Monaco.
Ansu Fati returned to training in mid-October after recovering from a calf injury, going on to feature in five matches for AS Monaco before picking up a fresh knock in the defeat to Lille. The setback has reignited concerns at the Stade Louis II over whether the Spanish forward can stay fit for a sustained run, with his recent performances also raising doubts about how well he fits Monaco's system on the wing.
Adi Hütter's side now travel to Paris FC this Sunday at 17:15 without their options widened by Fati's latest absence. For a squad already managing a congested fixture list, the recurring injuries add pressure on the coaching staff to find consistency in attack.
Fati arrived at Monaco carrying significant expectation, but his time on the Rock has been repeatedly interrupted by physical issues. With his contract situation and long-term role still unresolved, this latest injury will do little to settle the debate among supporters about his future at the club.
