Alzheimer's charity week raises over €18,000 in Monaco

The campaign, themed around "ceux qui oublient" (those who forget), combined public collections with events designed to draw attention to the condition and the families affected by it.
For residents, the total reflects a strong local response to a cause with growing relevance as the Principality's population ages. The association channels funds raised locally into both research support and practical help for patients and carers navigating the disease in Monaco.
World Alzheimer's Day, marked internationally on 21 September, has become a fixture in the Monegasque charity calendar, with the association using the week beforehand to organise its main fundraising push. The final figure will be used to support ongoing programmes rather than a single new initiative, according to the organisation's stated aims for the campaign.
