By MonacoViews Editorial, MonacoViews Editorial

Twenty-one companies joined the Monaco Economic Board's inaugural 2026 economic delegation to Switzerland, focusing on financial and legal sector partnerships.

The Monaco Economic Board launched its 2026 international business programme with a strategic three-day delegation to Zurich from 11-13 March. The mission brought together 26 representatives from 21 Monegasque companies, with particular strength in financial and legal services.

The Swiss expedition demonstrates the Principality's commitment to expanding economic partnerships beyond its traditional markets. Zurich's position as a leading European financial hub makes it a natural partner for Monaco's own thriving financial sector.

Diplomatic support played a crucial role in the mission's framework, with Ambassador Carole Lantéri facilitating high-level connections between Swiss and Monegasque business communities. The delegation's composition reflects Monaco's expertise in wealth management, legal services, and financial innovation.

Early indications suggest significant potential for deeper economic collaboration between the two nations, setting a promising tone for the Economic Board's international agenda throughout 2026.
