A dozen young cancer survivors have reached Monaco waters following an extraordinary therapeutic sailing expedition. The group arrived at the Yacht Club de Monaco marina aboard the vessel Sir Ernst, marking the culmination of several days spent together at sea.
The voyage was organised through a partnership with À chacun son cap, an association dedicated to supporting young people through their cancer recovery journey. The initiative offers participants a unique opportunity to build confidence and forge new friendships whilst experiencing life aboard a sailing vessel.
Such therapeutic sailing programmes have gained recognition for their positive impact on young people recovering from serious illness. The combination of teamwork, physical challenge, and the restorative environment of the sea provides participants with valuable skills and experiences that extend far beyond their time on the water.
