Travel disruption expected on 1 May in Monaco

Residents should plan their journeys carefully on 1 May as public holiday arrangements will affect traffic and transport across the Principality.
With the 1 May public holiday falling this Friday, those living and working in Monaco are advised to think ahead before making their usual journeys. Reduced services and road closures associated with the Fête du Travail typically affect movement through the Principality's busiest corridors, particularly around the Port Hercule area and the main commercial districts.
Whether travelling by bus, on foot, or by car, it is worth checking current schedules through Monaco Service Public before heading out. Some administrative services and businesses will also be closed for the day, so any errands that cannot wait are best handled on Thursday 30 April.
