Travel disruption expected across Monaco on 1 May
By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial
Residents should plan ahead for significant disruption to movement around the Principality on 1 May due to the public holiday.
The 1st of May brings Monaco's traditional Fête du Travail, and with it the road closures, reduced services, and altered circulation patterns that accompany public holidays in the Principality. Residents are advised to plan journeys in advance rather than rely on usual routines.
Whether travelling by car, bus, or on foot, the day will see changes to normal access across various districts. Checking the official Monaco Service Public channels before heading out is the most reliable way to confirm which routes and services are operating.
