Monaco hosts the UIM E1 World Championship on 17 and 18 July for the third consecutive year, with a newly formed Team Monaco entering for the first time.
The Port of Monaco plays host to the UIM E1 World Championship on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July, as the all-electric powerboat series returns to the Principality for a third straight year. This edition carries particular local interest, with Team Monaco making its competitive debut on home water for the very first time.
The team fields two drivers: Maxime Nocher, French, and Oban Duncan, British. Their RaceBird craft, like all E1 machinery, runs entirely on electric power, foiling above the surface at speed in a format that has drawn growing crowds to the harbour since the series launched.
For residents along the waterfront and property owners overlooking the port, the race weekend brings the kind of spectacle that requires no prior knowledge of motorsport to appreciate. The harbour circuit keeps the action close to shore, and both Friday and Saturday sessions are expected to draw significant grandstand interest.
