A new exhibition at the Museum of Stamps and Coins commemorates the 70th anniversary of Prince Rainier III's marriage to Grace Kelly, running until 15 October 2026.
The Museum of Stamps and Coins on Terrasses de Fontvieille has opened a dedicated exhibition marking 70 years since the April 1956 wedding of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly, the event that drew global attention to Monaco and reshaped the Principality's international standing for generations.
The exhibition draws on the museum's own philatelic and numismatic collections, which have long documented key moments in Monaco's history through commemorative stamps and coins. Visitors can expect to see archival material relating to the ceremony and the official postal and monetary records it inspired, offering a tangible connection to one of the most documented days in the Principality's modern history.
The show runs until 15 October 2026, giving residents and visitors several months to take in the display. The Museum of Stamps and Coins is open Tuesday to Sunday and admission is included in the combined ticket for the Fontvieille museum cluster.
